Help!

Many times I have asked myself a question: Is it okay to help everyone? To those who didn't have treated me nicely or who are just using me when they need help? What if anyone is just using me for their selfish reasons?

And I reached this level where whenever anyone asks me for help, I have decided that I would help them without expecting anything from them in return. As my folks used to teach me when I was a kid that "Do your duty without thinking about results". I will help others as much as I can because that thing makes me feel satisfied. Helping others is your gesture but you can't expect everyone to think in a similar way. So do your good deeds and help others, if they want and if you can. 

At The Same Time You Should Your Top Priority:

Help others only when you know that it is not hurting you or there is no harm in that for you. In short, don't do anything out of the box for everyone. For example, If I'm earning 25k a month if a friend needs 5k then I can help that friend as I Know I'll not suffer much. And if that same friend needs 20k and I know that will hurt my pocket for the whole next month, I directly tell that friend I can't help you with that much amount. I can help you that much only which I feel I can afford. So yes, Learn to Say 'No' When You Can't, Don't Give False Hope to others. In short, help others when you're sufficient.

If Someone Is Using You Just For Their Own Selfishness:

If you feel that someone is using you for their own profits, do help others without expecting anything in return but until and unless that is not harmful or hurting you in any manner.

That is my view on helping people and how I decide. I hope this will help you to analyze when you are stuck in such a situation. Please remember these points and I'm sure this will help you.
