Bullying🚫
We all know what bullying is, and it happens to anyone. And whats the most famous amongst the bullying nowadays is cyberbullying.
Bullying and cyberbullying in today's day and time is at its prime. Bullies are such carefree and ignorant people that it may not matter to them but when someone is bullied that trauma remains with them for their entire lifetime. All of us someday or the other must have got bullied.
And no strict action is taken against the bully or the cyber bully but that bullying stays the person who got bullied. A scare is left on them for eternity. Most of us do not complain about bullying or cyberbullying. We don't talk to our parents, we don't let our closed ones know about it. Thinking it would also disturb them too but it's important to share with your parents or with a closed one.
Bullying is growing in today's world with us surrounded by social media everywhere. Therefore, there are legal remedies available. You can always file a complaint against the bully. There are very strict laws against bullying or cyberbullying in our country. To have an understanding of cyber law in India it is necessary to what is the meaning of bullying and what's cyberbullying.
Bullying means inflicting physical or physiological pain and hurt in a systematic way to distress the victim which are mostly students or employees. And when one is bullied online, it is known as anti-bullying or cyberbullying. We all face bullying in our office space or schools And colleges.
Section 67 of the Information Technology Act deals with cyberbullying in one way. Section 67 of the act that prescribes punishment for publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic form for a term which may extend to five years and also with fine which may extend to ten lakh rupees.
Section 507 IPC - The section states that if anyone receives criminal intimidation by way of an anonymous communication then the person giving threats shall be punished with imprisonment for up to two years. By virtue of word anonymous the offense of anti-bullying and cyberbullying is included in this section.
Section 66 E of IT Act - The section prescribes punishment for violation of privacy. The section states that any person who intentionally violates the privacy by transmitting, capturing, or publishing private pictures of others shall be punished with up to three years imprisonment or fine up to three lakhs.
We never think to stand up and file a complaint against bullying until the matter goes to a serious level.
I also Want to add some points to avoid cyberbullying.
Why Avoid? Because not every time we are self-sufficient to go and take action against the Person, sometimes our family does not allow us and a very common reason is our past when you tell your secrets or you talk to someone in full confidence and trust, and that turns into blackmailing.
Do Not Respond To Bullying, it may sometime help you as the bullies might lose interest in you. The best way is to disconnect yourself from the situation and distract the Wrong Doer.
At The Time when you're facing bullying especially cyberbullying. Keep your evidence safe with you at each step of the conversation with the Accused. Your evidence will help you in future while filing a complaint. You have a strong weapon with you against the accused.
Please reach out for help even if it's your fault. Talk to your family or friends who can genuinely help you and give you the best advice. Choose the person wisely when you decide to talk.
Keep your accounts and your information safe, do not share your data with anyone, not with your advocate, your friends no one has the right to know your personal details. Keep your account private.
If you are a blogger or a public figure. Still, no one has the right to the bully because you are a public figure or a celebrity. You are a public figure, not public property, you can also take action against bullying.
I have spoken to a lot of people. I've talked to those who faced bullying and also to the ones who bullies. We all are human. We all think good or bad about someone. We all judge someone. But, instead of spreading bad things if we focus on spreading happiness maybe we'll get this thing out of our mind. If you don't like a human being or you don't like what they do. Instead of saying bad things about that person, if you just look at that person and mile then move on that would be more relaxing.

DeleteThis is a unpopular opinion.
ReplyDeleteLog out of the site. Unlike school and college sitting on Facebook and Reddit is not something you have to do. And more importantly
Don't take all bad comments seriously, trolling is a popular hobby amongst people who have nothing good to do in life.
And
I totally agree with your Suggestions, but In today's time the ability of child to take mental stress is very weak and Some of them are Very sensitive. Cyber bulling has not remained confined to just one bad comment. it has surpassed beyond that. We see cyberbullying around us every day. We can 't even guess how far this goes to affect the man with whom this is happening. Sometimes children consider suicide as their last step, So In Initial stages we should adopt the same way that we can stop or ignore it so that the morale of the person go down. And I 'd like to share the same thing with you that bullying isn' t just a bad comment It's Beyond That.
